Sherry Merriam Counseling

I provide counseling and psychotherapy for adult individuals, couples, and other relationships. My comfortable office is conveniently located near Hwy 100 in St. Louis Park on a major bus line. I have affordable rates and accept many insurance plans.

Sherry works with adult individuals, couples, and other relationships. Her interests include communication skills, conflict resolution, relationships, assertiveness skills, women's issues, sexuality, physical health issues, disability, life transitions, depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, weight management, spirituality, and creativity. She is certified in PREPARE/ENRICH (pre-marital and couple assessment).

Sherry's therapeutic approach emphasizes supportive listening, collaborating with clients, problem-solving, and skill-building. She welcomes clients with diverse ethnicities, religions, sexual/relational orientations, and gender identities.

Sherry is earning her MA in counseling and psychotherapy at Adler Graduate School. She completed her BA in psychology at the University of Oklahoma, and she is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Counseling Association, and Minnesota Women in Psychology. As an intern, Sherry is supervised and supported by a team of experienced professionals.
